What we keep, what we don't, and how to remove it.

If you create an account we store your email, the name you set, and an optional profile photo, cover, bio, country, and social links.
Drill progress, saved lines, streaks, XP, and game reviews are stored with that account so they follow you across devices.
Linking Chess.com or Lichess is optional. If you do, we store the username you enter and the games you import so you can review them. We don't ask for your Chess.com or Lichess password.
Unlimited is billed by Stripe. We store a Stripe customer id, subscription id, plan, and the date the current period ends. Card numbers stay with Stripe.
The site remembers your board colors, language, and sound setting in local storage. Product analytics help us see which drills get used. You can turn that off in your browser by blocking the analytics script.
Settings has Deactivate account. That signs you out and deletes the account and the progress saved to it. Email hello@learnchess.fun if you need a copy of what we hold before you do that.
